Ellie Day was sitting courtside at Quicken Loans Arena for the Cleveland Cavaliers' home game against Oklahoma City Thunder when James fell onto her.
James, who stands at an impressive 6ft 8in, was chasing a loose ball when he fell out of bounds, knocked Mrs Day's chair over and crushed the mother-of-two.
The PGA Tour golfer's wife, who gave birth to the couple second child one month ago, was taken
stretchered out of the stadium in a neck brace and taken to a local hospital.
