So it looks like songstress Ciara Harris might have an airtight case against rap mogul Future Hendrix after all.
As you know Ciara filed a $15 million lawsuit against Future, 32, for willful slander and defamation of her character.
Future, whose real name is Nayvadius Wilburn, is reportedly angry that Ciara, 30, left him and moved on with Super Bowl champion Russell Wilson.
The lawsuit was filed in Superior Court of Fulton County (Atlanta, Georgia) on Jan. 21, 2016.
According to court documents, a series of emails exchanged between Ciara’s high-powered attorney, Tanya Mitchell Graham, and Future’s lawyer, Ivory Brown, shows Future repeatedly make it difficult for Ciara to arrange parenting time for the rapper and their son, Future Zahir Wilburn.
Emails show Ciara feared for her son’s safety due to Future’s chaotic and erratic behavior by posting false and deceitful social media statements about Ciara.
For instance, Ciara agreed to make baby Zahir available to Future 7 days per month. But Future and his attorney repeatedly changed the dates or disagreed on previously agreed upon dates, causing confusion and distrust amongst the parties.
In one email sent on Jan. 4, 2016, Ms. Graham wrote, “Does this latest request for parenting time dates mean that Mr. Wilburn is now declining the January 12-16, 2016 parenting time that Ms. Harris offered to Mr. Wilburn?”
In another email, also dated Jan. 4, Ms. Graham wrote, “Could you please explain why your client called Ms. Harris a “bitch” on social media for the world to see today, and why he misrepresented to the world that he pays her $15K per month? Please advise. Please stop ignoring my question.”
Ms. Graham is best known for winning a high profile child custody case for rap mogul Chris “Ludacris” Bridges.
This lawsuit is the first step in Ciara’s multi-pronged strategy to get full custody of their infant son. In other words, Future doesn’t stand a chance in court.
