MY LOVE - MY PRIDE
He has a big heart, very intelligent and treats me like am the only one in this world. But the compromises he made was what made him irreplaceable. his persistence was legendary. I never for one day doubted his commitment. He was consistent through out the years and I met him year 2000.
My sister was traveling with me. She was talking to me. He sat behind us, he realized we were Nigerians. He asked where we are from. My sister was the one doing all the talking. I was reading a book, didn't want to be bothered. He kept truing to carry a conversation with me but I ignored. At the end of our journey, he requested for my number, my sister gave him our home phone number.
Sure he called. The conversation was so brief. He kept calling but later got the hint that I wasn't interested. Then he stopped, we list contact for 2-3 years
His family was moving to another house. He was cleaning his room. And happened to find the same old piece of paper my sister wrote our house number on.

He called , I was shocked. Then I just broke up with my boyfriend at that time. He told me he never will let me go again
He invited me for his graduation. I went. Then I realized what an intelligent person he was. He was getting his masters in Mathematics and computer science. Our conversation was so refreshing
We meet in 2000, talked for a little bit. Lost contact. Reconnected in 2004. I said yes to him for the third time in 2009
Yes, he is my best friend in the whole wide world.
My advise for ladies is, its ok to be single. Take that time to love yourself, find your self worth. If you love yourself, the man coming to you will have no choice than to love you. you must embrace who you are first and love yourself. Do not concentrate on the material things of life. Be with someone that is hardworking and has a future and you both work together to achieve things in life.
There is nothing like a perfect man. But I knew he has qualities that will compliment mine. Compatibility is the key
