Star Wars' John Boyega celebrated landing the role of Finn in The Force Awakens by taking co-star Harrison Ford to dinner in Peckham, where he demolished a plate of poundy.
Situated beneath a block of flats, Nigerian restaurant 805 on London's Old Kent Road was the unlikely venue for the meal in September 2014.
"I took him to a Nigerian restaurant in south east London, he walked up into that place like he was Nigerian," the 23-year-old Nigerian born Boyega said.
He told the Standard, Ford asked him to be shown around the area where he had grown up, adding: “In order to break Harrison into the London culture I took him to the Old Kent Road to have some Nigerian food - and he loved it.”
Ford steered clear of exotic dishes like spiced gizzard and diced cow foot (Nkwobi) instead ordering traditional Nigerian egusi soup and pounded yam, for £15, washed down with a non-alcoholic cocktail.
Boyega ordered jollof rice with plantain.
Manager Emmanuel James recalled how stunned staff were w hen they recognised their famous diner
"No one took any pictures," James said. "He (Boyega) asked the waiter if he could be left alone so we didn't bother him."
The Londoner paid the bill and left a tip.
