In recent times, the Nigerian military have been dealing with the Boko Haram insurgency incredibly. Finding them before suicide bombings, rescuing children from their grasp, going to fish them out in their hideouts, the military has been doing a fantastic job.
Yet again, they have proven that they are a force to be reckoned with as they have now successfully rescued 178 people from the hands of terrorists.

Along with rescue came the capture of a Boko Haram commander in the Bama area of Borno State.
All of this was revealed in a statement revealed by the military on August 2nd, 2015.
According to the statement, the troops successfully cleared terrorists’ camp in Fadan, Shuwarin, Wulari, Ngoro Dauye, Jidori, Alikashiri, Kalzamari-Shuwa and Kalzamari-Kanuri amongst others.
The statement also added that three Boko Haram flags were recovered while five motor cycles were burnt by the troops.
The rescued captives include 101 children, 67 women and 10 men.
