Walton County Sheriff's deputies said they stopped Goldsmith in the area of U.S. Highway 331 for driving on a suspended license. His vehicle then got a positive alert from a police dog, and deputies found a Red Bull can under the center console.
Upon opening the can, officials found 4.6 grams of ICE, a form of methamphetamine, 5.3 grams of marijuana, along with a spoon and several baggies.
Goldsmith was arrested for possession of methamphetamines and intent to sell or distribute marijuana, according to reports by The Northwest Florida Daily News.
Deputies believe that Goldsmith intended to sell or distribute the drugs because he has previously been arrested for possession of methamphetamines and intent to sell or distribute, marijuana distribution and possession of paraphernalia to transport drugs.
Goldsmith, according to his arrest report, has been unemployed since 2006.
