Good day aunty. Its been a while, and I will like to share what's keeping me away from the family. Missing the love and drama and fun!!!
IN THIS NEW DISPENSATION, I HATE THURSDAYS!!!
It has been a while hotties!!! And so, let's judge this together; that you may not blame anybody for running mad.
Thursdays have stuck out amidst five painful days of every academic week to be the crest of my agony. I don't know if it's the double period of stale pharmacognosy class which ushers in the torment every 8:00am, or the whyning stomach, which on most cases, is without substance. Or is it the string of unwanted, yet crucial practicals that climax to confusions more often than not??? I hate Thursdays!!!
I couldn't bear the hunger shaa, so I left the cognosy class to patronize my customer. Her big blue warmer certainly knows how to keep to its duties: the okpa is always hot!!! (Trust me, you want to have a taste). I was hurrying to return to the class, so I took only one wrap, with its complementary bottle of 7up, and settled the first case of the morning."Mummy, okpa gi atoka ”, I said with my normal stupid smile, hoping that one day, she will appreciate my appreciations with an extra wrap. She just smiled and collected her money. Imagine. Nigerians!!! Anyways, the classes ended.
It was time for practicals, and the ting-ting-nabulation in my tummy returned. It was past 11 and I believed I could hold out the 3 hours before refuelling. I did survive, but after much hunger-inducing confusions in the lab. Luckily, it ended by 1:30, that is 30 mins grace before the final lap of 2 to 5 pm. Another practicals. No need trying the patience of my Chi. So in the company of ndi odi ka odi m, I ran to the makeshift stalls where you will definitely find everything you need, although they are always one table each. What did I even buy seff??? Ehen, Gala and Mountain Dew. Lwkm...It sufficed.
There wasn't much confusions in the lab (not that there wasn't any) As it ended, it was to your tent o Israel. All those chirping birds were too tired to gossip about the lecturers trousers. I didn't hear of the latest in the transfer market. Lol, ike gwuru men.
My face was just straight, my mind joggling between evening mass and practical reports, which one to make way for sleep?? Finally shaa, God won, and the reports will have to wait till oge ozo.
Before mmadu anwuo na o gara mahadum....
