A man went into a panic when his dog went missing... only to find the pooch asleep on a rug.

The Reddit user was with the dog in the bathroom when he suddenly worried she’d disappeared.

He went to look around the house for the black Yorkshire Poodle before returning to the bathroom and realising his dog had been hiding in plain sight.

The user, damien_shallwenot, took a picture of the dog and posted it on the social media site where it has been upvoted thousands of times.

He wrote: “Thought my dog was with me in the bathroom, then walked out to look for her.”
